Paintball Insurance - FAQs
by Thumper 5.17.2009

Below are a "few easy to find" tid bits Ive collected for my own education - use as you see fit.

I expect a commercial field to have liability insurance to protect me in the case of injury, and to protect others from injury I may cause.

Statistically, an accidential paintball to the eye will cause blindness in that eye 50% of the time, and cost $250,000 in efforts to save the eye.

If the field does not have insurance, then an injured players may be out of luck and have no recourse except to sue the field owner and other players involved.

If the field has insurance, but fails to comply with the insurance company's safety guidelines, then the insurance may NOT cover an incident.

Ultimately we, the players, must be knowledgeable about the insurance that protects us. Below is my own research into the topic - again for my own understandin
