Red Dawn - A trial run..

The field owner of Sugar Bottom Paintball is thinking about allowing his land to be used for Sceanrio Paintball games. He has 187 acres w/ a 60 acre hay field, and an old farm house that can be used.

There are no facilities, running water, etc - only land.

On December 9th, 2006 the workers from a nearby tire plant are turning out in force, along with several invited guests to test the land, and play the dirt in a trial run in a mini-scenario. The Flyer above contains the nuts and bolts of the game including the map and missions.

The cost is $10 to play. BYOP / BYOA.
Cash only.

For a decent test we need around 50 players to 60 players. No more, no less. As a results, this game is invitational only.

First mission is at 10:15 and game ends at 5:00pm. Registration opens at 8:30am the day of.

Bring your paperwork filled out. Please organize into teams.

Missions are published in advance, and on the flyer.

BYOpaint / BYOair / BYOmarker / BYOeverything. There is no proshop. You are kind of on your own as far as supplies go. The local outlaw ballers are used to this. For the teams etc that play are organized fields, plan accordingly.

Comments by Thumper : While the final score reflects a bit of a wipe out, the game was not. The Boses Pitbulls earned their name at Red Dawn as they rolled over Section8 like a tidal wave at the 2:30 mission and 1:00 missions. Section8 had to concede the 2:30 mission early and take the opportunity to regroup and pre-position for the A,B,C missions. Game was called after 3:00 once the Bose Pitbulls pulled out, and the remaining players joined in for 3 games of kick-the-can at the farm house. To the pitbulls : Very well played guys.
