2007-02-24 - Last Sunday while sipping mint juleps on the verandah, Mrs. Jones saw a meteor crash to earth - throwing a large cloud of mud and debris over her home. Aside from the mess, things seemed normal until the nearby swamp grew eerily quiet. In in near panic, she called sheriff Stover who investigated. He has not returned yet. SLED agents, fearing the worst, called in the Colonial Marines to sweep the swamp for the Sheriff - or what's left of him.

Let the HUNT BEGIN!!!!!

 

Alien Sweep : Several Aliens have been seen in the cambodian swamp. The colonial marines begin and spawn at the termite mound with orders to search and destroy. Spin the spinner to neutralize the alien invaders. This is a timed exercise:

Forces: 6 young aliens lead by Aerion & ZEN vs 5 marines (with the aliens swapping to marines as eliminated)

Star Gate -- Intergalactic intelligence reports new weapons designs are available on planet TooKeeDoo - but the arms dealers there don't take credit cards. The marines will need to locate the components to the start gate, travel via wormwhole to TooKeeDoo to negotiate in person. It is their only chance to defeat the Aliens.

The 3 poles necessary to construct the star gate are located in the swamp. Build the stargate at the local marine side bridge. All marines must run through the constructed star gate to escape.

Endless spawn both sides.

Forces: 5 aliens lead by Kyle and Chappy vs 8 marines
Duration: 15+

The colonial marines were able to take the island, but only found one piece of the stargate. Aftyer 15 minutes the game was called.

Strategy Session : Spyderman came by and we reviewed section8's communications plans for Tarawa. Afterwards most of the guys bugged out to go pillage D's wings for some hard earned chow.

Forces: 2 aliens (Clay and George) vs 5 marines (Thumper, Aerion, John-John, Spook and Charlie)

Forces: 3 aliens (Thumper, Clay and Charlie) vs 4 marines ( Aerion, John-John, Spook and George)
Duration: 2:30 minutes - george took our flank and rolled up the backside like a spry young chicken.

Forces: 2 aliens (Aerion, George and John-John) vs 4 marines (Thumper, Clay, Spook and Charlie)
Duration: - 15 minutes + This one went a long time. I know I spawned 3 times. Aerion gogged me on my left tape assault, George double tapped me as I swept the flank, and I forget the rest - but I got pretty ugly. It came down to me and John-John in a mano-a-mano - and kicked his can.
